6/23/2025 @ 12PM – Iowa Speak-Out: Tell Senator Joni “Hearse” Ernst to Vote NO on Cuts to Vital Services

As you might have heard, Sen. Ernst coldly and callously responded to a constituent’s plea that Medicaid cuts would kill them by saying, “We all are going to die.” Sen. Ernst then doubled down in another, somehow even more off-key video, where she called her constituents “out-of-touch children” who “still believe in the tooth fairy.” So, we’re showing up to stop Senator Joni Ernst from slashing Medicaid, Medicare, SNAP, and other essential programs.

Join us outside Sen. “Hearse” Ernst’s Davenport office for a staged funeral procession and speak-out.

The Speak-out will be at 12:00 PM out in front of the Senator’s office at 201 W Second Street on the corner of main.

If you would like to join the staged funeral procession by driving in your own car we would be happy to have you join us and the hearse at 11:00 AM in Vander Veer Botanical Park, 215 W Central Park Ave, Davenport, IA 52803. Use the entrance off of W Central Park Ave, follow the park road to the Conservatory parking lot and look for a hearse! We will have washable markers to decorate your car windows if you want.
