5/26/2025 @ 2pm – Silent Protest in Bettendorf Opposing U.S. Rep. Miller-Meeks

Join us for a silent protest on Monday, May 26 at 2:00 PM across from the Bettendorf Veterans Memorial Park, located at 1645 23rd Street, Bettendorf, IA.

U.S. Representative Mariannette Miller-Meeks is scheduled to speak at the park’s Memorial Day ceremony. In response to her legislative record, we are organizing a peaceful and silent demonstration to visibly express our dissent.

This will be a non-disruptive action conducted with full respect for the veterans being honored.
There will be:

• No chants
• No music or shouting
• No sign-waving

You are encouraged to bring signs, but please hold them quietly and remain still. We will stand in silence as a visible statement of protest.
Let our presence—and our silence—speak for itself.
