Celebrate Women’s Equality Day: Equality for All at the Lincoln Park bandshell in Rock Island from 5 to 7 PM. This annual observance marks the certification of the 19th Amendment in 1920 and Congress’s designation of August 26 as Women’s Equality Day in 1973.

Hear from a strong lineup of speakers, including Jess Piper, director of Blue Missouri, Sangeetha Rayapati, mayor of Moline, Illinois Rep. Margaret Croke, and Judith Lee, former Davenport council member. Expect rally energy, music, and info tables from local groups and candidates.

Bring lawn chairs or blankets. A drop-off lane in front of the bandshell is available for those who need assistance.
This is a free, community event that centers democracy, equal rights, and participation. All are welcome.
